Decision Maker 4X4 is an aftermarket accessory retailer. This is attributed manufacturer news with our own buyer checklist. All four illustrations are AI editorial concepts, not official H7 photographs, actual dealer quotes or evidence of vehicle performance.
GWM's H7 launch release and its November offer cards describe different grades. This report compares what those official pages say. It is a dated source review, not a current stock list or an offer to sell a vehicle. The offer card prices discussed below are expressly scoped to private buyers in Victoria.
Source verification date: 2026-11-01.
The launch release is dated 2026-10-29.
We checked GWM's Australian pricing announcement, official offers page and Australian H7 model page. The distinction between those records is central to this report.
In this report:
- What the launch release confirms
- Why the model page needs a second check
- How to compare a hybrid and PHEV quote
- What to confirm before an order
- Common questions
What prices does the announcement name?
The release names Lux Hybrid AWD at A$45,990 driveaway and Vanta PHEV AWD at A$53,990 driveaway.
These are historical launch statements from the linked announcement. They are not a national price promise made by this retailer or independently obtained quotes. We make no claim that every dealer has either grade available for immediate delivery.
GWM reports hybrid system power of up to 182kW and PHEV system power of up to 320kW, with 670Nm for the PHEV.
Those figures are manufacturer statements. This article does not present them as independently measured performance or use them to predict an owner's running costs.
The announcement moves the story beyond the earlier H7 expressions of interest report. Our editorial distinction is simple: interest, a launch announcement, a dealer quote and a completed delivery are separate records. Readers should keep each record attached to its date and scope.

What differs on the current model page?
The model page displays Lux HEV, Vanta HEV, Lux PHEV and Vanta PHEV labels. These are website labels only; this report does not establish the complete current sales range, supply status or a price for each label.
For a more specific comparison, the official offers page displays Lux HEV from A$45,990 and Lux PHEV from A$49,990, both driveaway prices for private buyers in Victoria.
The offers page advertises an A$1,000 launch offer on those Lux grades before 2026-11-30. Its general price terms include advertised discounts and require order and delivery by 2026-11-30, or while stocks last.
The model page's launch banner says 2026-11-30, while its general price footnote retains 2026-10-31.
The additional source makes the Lux offer cards and their stated scope clearer. It does not erase the older model page footnote, settle an individual order's eligibility or establish a customer's delivery date. Nor is the Lux PHEV card the same grade as the Vanta PHEV named in the launch release. We have not calculated a price reduction between those different grades.
Our advice is to ask a dealer which terms apply to the exact stock vehicle and quote. Do not silently extend an expired footnote, apply a grade specific saving to the entire range or deduct an advertised saving again without confirmation that it is additional to the quoted total.
This discrepancy does not establish a dealer error or prove an offer is unavailable. It establishes a question that the public page alone does not resolve. A written answer is more useful than an assumption based on a banner, particularly when a purchase crosses a monthly promotion boundary.
How should a buyer compare hybrid and PHEV quotes?
The following is our editorial comparison method, rather than a test verdict. Begin with how the vehicle will be used: the regular route, parking arrangements, charging access, passenger needs and proposed luggage. Then ask the dealer to demonstrate the equipment on the exact grade under discussion.
For a PHEV enquiry, establish a realistic charging routine before attaching a saving estimate to the decision. Ask about the supplied charging equipment and what separate installation work would be needed at your property. Our driveway illustration deliberately shows no operating data or promised charging time.
For either powertrain, put the complete quote beside the equipment list. Make paint, dealer supplied extras, delivery conditions and any finance arrangement visible as separate entries. Avoid comparing one bare advertised price with another vehicle's configured order and calling the difference a model comparison.
Do not choose accessories from body shape alone. A similar looking SUV or an overseas example is not a compatibility reference for an Australian vehicle. Ask for the model, grade, powertrain and original attachment details to be checked for each proposed part.

What should be confirmed before placing an order?
Ask for a quote that identifies the full grade name and powertrain, then the vehicle's build details and expected delivery. Have the dealer state the total payable for your location and buyer category, the promotion included, and any condition that depends on stock or delivery timing.
Keep the equipment list with that quote. If the website and dealer document differ, ask for an explanation before proceeding. A screenshot of a marketing headline would not, by itself, answer which specification or offer applies to an individual vehicle.
The same discipline applies to an accessory enquiry. Our general TANK 300 planning guide concerns a different model and should not be used as an H7 parts catalogue. H7 compatibility needs its own evidence. This news report approves no aftermarket component for the new vehicle.

Common questions
Is the launch price a quote for my location?
No individual quote was obtained for this report. Check the total, buyer category and applicable promotion with your dealer.
Are all grades shown online available immediately?
That is not established here. Ask which exact grade can be supplied and when, rather than inferring availability from a web label.
Can I rely on the November offer banner alone?
The same model page retains an older deadline in its general footnote. Request current written terms for the selected vehicle before relying on a saving.
